These sunflowers bloom each October near Lake Jessup. It's a "must see" place. The sunflowers are 5' tall, stretch as far as you can see and bees are buzzing everywhere. On this morning we arrived be sunup and made the short walk to the old pasture in full bloom. Sometimes the muck was ankle deep, but the experience was well worth it! This painting was created from photos back in my studio.
