This wonderful live oak was nestled on the shore at Myakka River State Park. I found a rock to paint from that was out in the water just a bit. It was bit nerve wracking as there were giant alligators everywhere!
The original painting was a small study, this painting is an 11"x 14" created in my studio with fond femories of the day.
