Beginning at Days End
Apalachicola is a great place to watch the shrimp boats head out for a days catch. Seems their day usually begin as the sun sets.
This painting is 12x16” oil on panel in a black with gold frame. There is a touch up on the bottom of the frame ( collateral damage from transporting to the gallery).
Barka Lounger
A toothy alligator lounging on a fallen tree in a bed of water lettuce. This painting has a lot of texture!

Snug Harbor
"Snug Harbor". I saw a vintage postcard of this place and had to do a painting. Snug Harbor Marina in Ft. Myers is long gone, replaced by restaurants and condos.

Pretty in Pink - Bok Tower
Florida’s historic Bok Tower is a beautiful sight to see. It was built of Georgia pink marble high on a hill overlooking orange groves. The view is still wonderful today.
Size 10” x 20” oil on stretched canvas. Edges of canvas are painted so it is ready to hang without a frame.
Riverside Palms
This is a plein air piece done during the New Smyrna Beach Plein Air Paint out a couple of years ago. This was the year Hurricane Matthew came skirting next to the coast. It was a close call! I painted this the day before the hurricane called off the paint out. I didn't get a chance to enter it into the show, so here it is for you to enjoy!

Sky Hop
This painting was painted during the Mt. Dora Plein air event a few years ago. It got 2nd place!
I titled it Sky Hop because the purple evening clouds resembled a jumping rabbit.

This is one of my most popular paintings. I based it off of a hotel in Avon Park. The sign was still there until just last year when it was sadly taken down.
